Land Rover has announced the 2010 Freelander 2 Sport, which will hit the UK showrooms in January next year. 2010 Land Rover Freelander 2 Sport will be offered in two versions with two colours – Santorini Black and Lago Grey, both equipped with 19-inch limited-edition diamond-turned alloys, two-tone interior, rear spoiler, colour-keyed exterior trim, matching door handles and mirror casings.

For the new model year, Land Rover Freelander 2 Sport will be available as a standart model for both Black and Lago Grey versions, and fitted with a sports styling pack available only in Lago Grey. A contrasting Ebony and Storm upholstery will contributes for the standart model’s interior comfort, and a luxurious leather upholstery will beautifies the sports styling pack equipped one.

The new Freelander 2 Sport is powered by an economical 2.2-litre TD4 diesel engine with Stop/Start function that delivers 8% less CO2 emissions compared to the previous manual diesel Freelander 2, and improved fuel consumption of 42.2mpg.

The price tag for the newcomer is £26,695 on-the-road.
