Toyota has revealed a new, enhanced version of its ultra compact city ride - iQ, which for model year 2011 is fitted with even higher flexibility, efficiency and comfort figures. Although its outer dress remains unchanged, the freshly refined ride benefits from some exclusive cabin additions and improved power units that now fully complies with the strict Euro 5 emissions standards.

Its inner changes include the addition of a brand-new interior scheme (grey with contrasting black upper trims on the doors and toning fabric upholstery) which is available in combination with Eclipse Black, Pearl White, Island Blue and Tyrol Silver exterior finishes, while the ‘old', established plum interior will continue to be offered with Deep Amethyst, Chilli Red and Decuma Grey finishes. For even more comfort, the 2011 Toyota iQ also utilizes new soft-touch materials and a Kuru black leather upholstery on the models styled in the newly added grey interior.

In the terms of efficiency and eco-friendliness, the 2011 Toyota iQ is offered with a choice between two enhanced powerplants, the 1.0-litre VVT-i  unit that now delivers 99 g/km and 64.2 mpg (combined cycle) or the 1.33-litre Dual VVT-i petrol engine with Stop & Start system, which boasts 113 g/km and 57.6 mpg.

Already available for purchase at the brand's dealerships across the UK, the ride has a price tag of 10,158 GBP on the road.
