2011 Volkswagen Sharan hits the market

2011 Volkswagen Sharan is now available to order from the dealerships across UK. It is priced at £22 980 for the lowest grade level S 1.4-litre TSI.

The family vehicle from Volkswagen offers a wide range of efficient TSI petrol and TDI diesel engines, and most of them feature BlueMotion Technology and fitted with Stop/Start and battery regeneration systems to enhance economy and lower emissions.

There are four available trim levels: S, SE, SEL and Executive.

The standard equipment includes ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with HBA (Hydraulic Brake Assist) and ESP (Electronic Stabilisation Programme), a curtain airbag system for all three rows of seats, side airbags for the first two rows of seats and driver and passenger airbags as well as an additional airbag to protect the driver's knees, an eight-speaker DAB digital radio, 2Zone electronic climate control and an iPod interface.

As an options, Volkswagen offers Adaptive Chassis Control (ACC), which can be adjusted - Comfort, Normal and Sport. Additionally, you can order second generation Park Assist system.
