Hyundai has announced its new superefficient 2012 i20 Blue. This is the second car in sub-100g/km CO2 model range. After the i10 Blue, i20 Blue boasts 98g/km of CO2 and it is the lowest emitting vehicle in Hyundai UK's product line-up.

The i20 Blue is based on the model with Comfort trim level powered by a 1.4 liter CRDi delivering 90PS. The model has several Blue Drive technologies including Intelligent Stop & Go (ISG), low rolling resistance tyres, rear suspension under cover and rear wheel deflector. The car achieves a 12% reduction in CO2 emissions from 111g/km down to just 98g/km.

The engine meets EURO 5 regulations and achieves 76.4mpg on combined cycle. This is a 14% improvement on a combined cycle when compared to the i20 1.4 CRDi 90PS Style model.

Standard extras are 15" alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity with voice recognition, electric heated and folding door mirrors, electric front and rear windows, steering wheel audio controls, USB and aux connections air conditioning and remote central locking.

2012 Hyundai i20 Blue is priced at £13 195 OTR.
