Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake Concept was introduced at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show and the good news is that it goes into production. It will be assembled in the Mercedes-Benz Plant Sindelfingen and available as 2012 model.

Currently, this factory produces the C-Class Sedan, the E-Class Sedan and Estate, the S-Class and the coupes CLS and CL as well as the Maybach models and Mercedes-Benz Guard vehicles.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG will be also produced in the same plant as well as the B-Class eCell. Starting 2014, the new Mercedes-Benz SL-Class will also be manufactured in Sindelfingen.

CLS Shooting Brake will be powered by the 3.5-liter V6 equipped with Start/Stop function and delivering 306 hp (225kW) and 370Nm of torque.
