2012 Mercedes SLK was unveiled in promotional video. It features front quarter vents, adaptive headlights with LEDs, of course, an integrated trunk-lid spoiler and LED taillights.

However, the optional AMG package adds a revised front fascia with LED fog lights, AMG wheels, and cross-drilled brakes.

The interior boasts a prominent center console and round air vents, a dash-mounted clock, sun-reflecting leather seats, and an innovative draft guard system which is integrated into the roll bars.

The options list will be huge - Airscarf, a Harman Kardon audio system, COMAND Online with internet access and an electrochromic glass roof dubbed Magic Sky Control.

2012 Mercedes SLK will be feature a standard Start/Stop system and 7-Gtronic PLUS transmission.

The new SLK is expected to make its official debut at the NAIAS, next month.
