Alpina has presented the 2014 B5 Bi-Turbo based on BMW 5-Series F10. The sports saloon boasts more power, better acceleration and performance as well as improved fuel efficiency. It boasts a mix of driving dynamics, comfort and everyday luxury.

2014 Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo is powered by the famous twin-turbocharged 4.4 liter V8 – 540HP (397 kW) at 5,200RPM and 730Nm (538 lb-ft) at 2,800RPM. 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 323 km/h (200 mph). The engine is connected to an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox sending the power to the rear wheels. The overall weight of the car is 1,920 kg, which is a lot, but the performance is impressive. The fuel consumption is 9.5 litres per 100 km on combined cycle with 221 g/km of CO2.

The ride rolls enormous 20" Alpina Classic alloys 8.5J x 20" with 255/35 ZR20 front and 9.5J x 20" with 285/30 ZR20 rear tires.

A finely tuned suspension and chassis configuration combined with variable dampers makes for an exemplary ride comfort while simultaneously providing sharp handling and excellent high-speed stability
