Alfa Romeo has just expanded its Alfa Giulietta range with the addition of a new Alfa Romeo Giulietta 2.0 JTDM-2 with 140 horsepower. Showcasing staggering efficiency yet high performance, the newly fitted plant is second generation and is fitted with JTDM-2 MultiJet Common Rail system, already renowned from the 1.6 JTDM-2 (105 horsepower) and the 2.0 JTDM-2 (170 horsepower) engines.

In the power compartment of the new Giulietta addition, Alfa Romeo has also added an electronically controlled variable geometry turbocharger, guaranteeing 350 Nm at just 1750 revs (Dynamic mode) and 320 Nm at 1500 rpm (in Normal mode). It has a maximum speed of 127 mph and the standstill to 62 mph acceleration takes 9 seconds.

Exclusively suitable to drivers demanding for excellent throttle response yet reasonable fuel consumption and running costs, the newly added Alfa Romeo Giulietta packs DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) and Start&Stop functions as standard. Furthermore, it is Euro 5 compliant and is packed with a built-in EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system that improves control of temperature and gas flow, delivering lower emissions and reduced fuel consumption.
