Sail EV concept was introduced by Chevrolet at the Guangzhou Auto Show in China. The small city car is co-developed with the PATAC (Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center) and features some details from Chevy Volt - grille, flush door handles, and turbine-style wheels.

It is powered by electric motor with 88PS (65 kW) and 220Nm (162 lb-ft). With such power, the small car is capable of doing 130 km/h (81 mph) and to go up to 150km (93 miles) on a single charge.

Motivation is provided by a small electric motor that produces 65 kW (87 hp / 88 PS) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of toque. It enables the car to hit a top speed of 130 km/h (81 mph) and travel up to 150 kilometers (93 miles) on a single charge. Chevrolet Sail EV uses regenerative braking to produce additional energy. The Intelligent Charging Assisting System maximizes the energy conversion ratio.

"GM is committed to delivering a range of advanced propulsion technologies and offering a portfolio of solutions that will allow our customers to choose the vehicle that best meets their needs.", commented Kevin Wale - President and Managing Director of the GM China.

The interior of Chevy Sailis simple and modern. It has adopted electric vehicle standards for safety set by SAE and ISO.
