The second pick-up truck next to the 2016 Toyota Tacoma that we impatiently want to see at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit is the 2016 Nissan Titan. Nissan has just released an exclusive video teasing the vehicle. In it we do not see the interior, not even the exterior of the vehicle. In particular, what raises the overall enthusiasm even further are the last seconds of the video.

If you have watched these 36 seconds than you know Nissan's secret. The new Titan will be powered by a Cummins diesel engine! We expect that the 5.0-liter V-8 turbo-diesel unit will produce more than 300 horsepower (220 Nm) and 745 Nm (550 lb-ft) of torque. Yet, nothing is official.

And in case you have watched the video very carefully then you have probably noticed that Nissan has also shown a shadowy look on Titan's frame. The truck will keep using a beefy boxed frame for additional rigidity, but there is no more information beyond that.

We also expect that the Japanese company will give the truck new grille and headlights with LED daytime running lights just like its rival – the Tacoma. Rumors suggest that there is also likely to be a larger cabin with improved and more luxurious interior.
