Here is a great video review of the new 2012 BMW 6-Series 640d Coupe M Sport by Fifth Gear. The big GT car is very elegant and well-made, but is it as good as its rivals.

The M Sport model comes with a complete aerodynamics package including new front and rear bumpers and modified side skirts. There is also a set of 19" M light alloy wheels, dark chrome exhaust tailpipes, High-¬gloss Shadowline exterior trim and black brake calipers. Last, but not least you'll get nice LED foglamps.

The interior also benefits from M Sport specification and adds anthracite headlining, Aluminium Hexagon trim, Sport seats with Alcantara/leather upholstery and M Sport multi¬function leather steering wheel.

The most stunning thing in this car is its engine. Although it is a diesel, it is quite sporty and has more revs than usual. The twin-turbocharging technology boosts the 3.0 liter motor to 313PS (230 kW) and brutal 630Nm (464 lb-ft), which is more than a V8 bi-turbo petrol. From 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) – electronically limited. The engine returns an incredible 51.4 mpg and 145 g/km of CO2.

Still, the new 6-Series Coupe has some interior space issues, so it may be not the perfect 2+2 sports car. Moreover, the 6-Series starts at £62 000, which is a lot!
