Hyundai has released another concept vehicle at the North American Auto Show in Detroit. The car will actually go on sale in 2012.

Hyundai Veloster is powered by 1.6 liter GDI Gamma engine with 138HP at 6300RPM and 166Nm (123 lb-ft) at 4850RPM. The power plant features Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (D-CVVT), Roller Timing Chain, Electronic Throttle Control and an innovative anti-friction coatings.

It is mated to a 6-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT), which offers high-efficiency operation for improved fuel economy with an optimal response and shift control.

The standard equipment boasts multi-function seven-inch touch-screen display, a Blue Link telematics platform which includes the Assurance, Essentials and Guidance systems.
