At the Tokyo Auto Salon 2010, Lexus has presented publicly its track-tuned Lexus IS F CCS (Circuit Club Sports) Concept. Boasting a bright orange body tone finish contrasted by lightweight carbon fiber elements, the newcomer draws on technology developed from the LFA supercar. Among the highlights of its carbon fiber elements, the Circuit Club Sports sedan packs: bonnet, roof, boot, rear wing, lip spoilers, door trims, centre console and gear knob. The carbon fiber components were developed in-house, drawing on the manufacturing processes derived from the development of Lexus' LFA supercar.

The engineers at Lexus have further fitted the IS F CCS concept with sports suspension, carbon ceramic brakes, titanium exhaust system, mechanical LSD and forged magnesium wheels.

"IS-F kicked off Lexus' entire sports and performance portfolio and we are looking forward to how the mindset behind it and LFA will shape our vehicles in the future," says Tony Cramb, the new chief executive at Lexus Australia. "The IS-F CCS Concept is a great-looking vehicle and should Lexus ever consider such a vehicle for production, it would definitely be on our list."
