LTI Vehicles proved that there is no place like home after drawing in the crowds at a prestigious exhibition in its native city.

The trip across to Coventry's Ricoh Arena may have been short, but the fare was excellent for LTI, who wowed scores of visitors to the Private Hire and Taxi Exhibition.

The event, which kicked-off the 60th anniversary celebrations, is the UK's largest trade show for the professional taxi driver and LTI's new stand, along with two world famousTX4 models, were extremely well received.

The company offered visitors to the stand a like for like test drive comparison in both manual and automatic versions of the latest model, which proved to be a big hit, despite some testing weather conditions.

An interactive exhibition stand was another highlight for LTI, who also used the occasion to cut its historic birthday cake, before a 60th anniversary speech given by John Russell, CEO Manganese Bronze Holdings PLC, LTI Vehicles' parent company.

Rob Laidler, Sales Director at LTI Vehicles said: "It was great to be in our home city to show off the TX4, which was extremely popular with visitors.

"A number of people took a test drive with us and the feedback we received about LTI and our vehicles being the professional choice was so encouraging. In many ways, this level of interest was the best birthday present we could ask for".
