McLaren 675LT is finally revealed! Set to make its debut in less than a week in Geneva, the car is destined to change some standards in the automotive world. Lightweight, optimized, aero and powerful, the coupé only 675LT is fully road legal and capable of 2.9 seconds 0-100km/h acceleration time. The 200 km/h barrier is broken in 7.9 seconds, focusing on the next goal – the 330 km/h top speed and going beyond it.

The new McLaren model is almost a synonym for carbon fiber. This material has been used literally everywhere. Take for instance the front splitter and the big active ‘Longtail' Airbrake, and the carbon fibre-shelled bucket seats inside. The result is a dry weight of just 1,230kg. At the rear, the circular twin titanium exhaust pipes are what give us some hints to the performance of the car.

The levels of power have been increased due to some substantial improvements to the 3.8-litre V8 engine. We are not going to discuss them in details, but we will only mention that due to these changes the engine unit has received a new unique code – M838TL.

What we haven't said so far is that the 675 LT is F1 GTR ‘Longtail' successor (LT stands for "Longtail'), meaning that it embodies its parent's characteristics. As the name of the car shows, the V8 is capable of generating 675 hp (496 kW). This number suggests only a track focused car. However, as we already told you, McLaren has managed to make the 675LT fully road legal.

What really caught our attention is that the company will offer the vehicle in five different "By McLaren" hero specifications. What this means? Basically, there will be four new colors specifically "invented" for the car. These include Silica White, Delta Red, Napier Green and Chicane Grey. The fifth color will be the heritage Orange.

Each model will be equipped with "stripped out" interior that has been fitted with premium materials and stylish hues, bucket seats wrapped in Alcantara, 675LT logos on the headrest and on the rev counter. Below you can read in details the official specifications of the car. If there's anything unsaid around it we will let you in a week, when it makes its official debut.
