Here is a good render of the Cascada OPC. The performance convertible by Opel is expected to hit the market in the end of this year.

The new Cascada was introduced with an all-new 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 170HP (125 kW) and 280Nm (207 lb-ft) of torque. There is also a 1.4 liter turbocharged petrol with 140HP (103 kW) and 220Nm (163 lb-ft). A diesel variant is also available – 2.0 CDTi with 165HP (121 kW) and 380Nm (282 lb-ft). The gearboxes are either 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.

The OPC variant is expected to be powered by the same engine as Astra OPC - a 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol with 280HP (206 kW) and 400Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. 0-100 km/h in 6.0 seconds dead and a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) – electronically limited.

The render shows a new aerodynamics package for the Cascada featuring a new front bumper, a pair of bigger side skirts and modified rear bumper. There is also a set of big wheels fitted with low-profile tires.
