2010 Porsche Cayenne was put on sale on May 29, and in just four weeks since over 16 000 orders have been received worldwide. The SUV proven its qualities and become the best selling Porsche in the company's history. The new Cayenne features a driver-oriented chassis that has been designed to combine sports car handling on the road with the added versatility of being able to cover ground quickly and safely, regardless of the terrain.

Visitors to the Goodwood Festival of Speed held on July 1 to 4 experienced the outstanding agility of the Cayenne first-hand by enjoying high-speed passenger rides around a specially-designed dynamics course.

In the United Kingdom, over 1 000 orders have already have been placed across model series - Diesel, Hybrid and Petrol. The first deliveries will start after four months, because of customers' demands.

Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid combines sporty performance and economy delivered from a small engine. The SUV is powered by V6 3.0-litre supercharged engine delivering 333hp and 47hp electric motor. The Hybrid Cayenne achieves 193 g/km CO2, which makes the vehicle - the cleanest Porsche throughout the Company's entire portfolio. Furthermore, this qualifies the Hybrid for Band J vehicle excise duty and annual road tax of £235. The fuel consumption is just superb - 8.2 litres per 100km ( 34.4mpg).

All Porsches feature a new Tiptronic S eight-speed automatic transmission featuring a wider spread of gear ratios, an Auto Start Stop function, optimised thermal management on the engine and transmission cooling system, on-board network recuperation, and intelligent lightweight construction.
