At the Tuning World Bodensee 2010 automotive fair, which took place two weeks ago, Prior Design, the German aftermarket body styling expert has unveiled its latest head-turning creation, the PD-Series SL R230. Inspired by the super sports ride SL65 AMG Black Series, the refined Mercedes-Benz SL R230 roadster now excels at more sculpted curves, flowing lines, massive air inlets and extraordinary muscular sides.

At first glance, the PD-Series roadster boasts new front design. It includes re-styled fenders, face-lifted headlights, new front spoiler with large, greedy air inlets and custom grill design. On the sides, the Prior Design SL R230 sports massive side sills, bigger wheels arches and sleek 20-inch three-piece PD1 design wheels wrapped in high-performance tires in the size 265/30R20 at the front and 305/25R20 at the rear axle. On the back, the black mean monster renders new bumper design and race-inspired diffuser, which can be ordered in carbon also. Furthermore, the retrofitted ride is lowered by integrated electronic Airmatic module.
