APS, the UK partner of the Swiss aftermarket expert Sportec has released an all-new performance enhancement program for the twin-turbocharged, 5.0-litres, V10 Audi RS6. Exclusively powerful even in stock trim – 572 horsepower (426 kW) and 479lb.ft of torque – the Audi RS6 wasn't big challenge for the guys at Sportec and they've developed two new upgrade kits, which are now available from APS.

Sportec Audi RS6 Stage One

Suitable for both the Audi RS6 saloon and the Avant estate variants, this kit is consist of ECU remap, which increases the ride's output figures to the remarkable 650 horsepower (478kW) at 6300rpm and  740 Nm (540lb.ft) between 2500-4000 rpm. Transferred on the asphalt, these numbers enables the retrofitted RS6 to sprint from zero to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds flat. The V-max is raised to 190 mph.

Sportec's Stage One for RS6 is price tagged at £2800 including VAT.

Sportec Audi RS6 Stage Two

Equipped with this package, the Sportec RS6 benefits from complete ECU, fuelling, ignition and boost parameters optimization as well as all-new emissions compliant sports catalysts. Thanks to these new fittings, the RS6's outputs rises to a monstrous 700 horsepower (515kW) at 6200rpm, allied to 800 Nm (584lb.ft) between 3000-6200rpm. On the road this translates to a stunning 0-62 mph time of 4.2 seconds, combined with a top speed of 190 mph.

The Sportec Stage Two performance kit is available from APS UK at the price of £6500 including fitting and VAT.
