Scirocco GTS Special Edition Front ViewA number of eye-catching Volkswagen special editions are going to extend the range of vehicles that the famous German brand has. The new models feature better styling with extra additional equipment. The changes affect the Look up!, the CC GT and R-Line Black Edition and the Scirocco GTS.

Look up!: the New Trim Level

Volkswagen released a brand new trim level for the up! city car. This particular version of the car is based on the already well-known Move up! and is driven by the same 1.0-litre 60 PS (44 kW) engine. The three-door Look up! also adds sportier 15-inch Fortaleza alloys, one-off interior trim, black wing mirror casings and black foil decals. The range of exterior color here includes Saturn Yellow, Tornado Red and Pure White.

Volkswagen CC GT and R-Line Black Editions Made Better

The next cars to include changes are the CC GT and R-Line Black Editions. Both include additional specification options and styling improvements: styling pack with black front grille and electric tilting sunroof. The difference in the exterior styling is that the is that the GT Black Edition gets 18-inch Lakeville alloys, while the R-Line Black Edition runs on 18-inch Talladega alloys.

Inside both have similar styling and include Carbon Nappa leather upholstery with carbon fibre-style decorative inserts on front and side doors and plus black piano inserts in the centre console.

At last but not least of importance is the new Volkswagen Scirocco GTS Special Edition. The standard variant of the car is equipped with the 220 PS (162 kW) 2.0 TSI 220 PS mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. There is also a variant where the engine is connected to DSG transmissions. The unique gasoline unit produces 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque at just 1,500 rpm; runs from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph in 6.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 153 mph.

This incredible car, now shares the Scirocco R-Line's impressive exterior styling kit. This means that it adds GTS-specific badging on the front grille and rear tailgate, black gloss door mirror casings and tinted rear glass. Furthermore, Volkswagen will offer it with a choice of six exterior colors, including the standard Urano Grey, Flash Red, Pure White, Oryx White, Indium Grey and Deep Black. The coolest thing here is that each paint color has specific color-coordinated GTS decal stripes to bonnet, roof and tailgate.

Inside, the trim is built again on the R-Line and adds Vienna leather upholstery with GTS logo on front sports seats, and red stitch detail. Other styling enhancements include piano black dashboard decorative inserts, a specific GTS gear-stick with golf ball effect gear knob, seatbelts with two red GTS stripes and chrome side door sill protectors carrying the sporty GTS logo.
