2012 Volkswagen Golf GTI Cabriolet is in fact the first ever convertible in GTI history, which is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 7.3 seconds. This is due to its outstanding engine, which is able to produce 210 horsepower and 280 Newton metres of torque from 1,700 rpm.

For decades GTI is considered one of the most original vehicles among compact sports cars. The numbers in sales speak for themselves. Volkswagen has sold over 1.8 million Golf GTI cars, and now is making a further step in the marketing launching the first open-top version of the iconGTI icon.
