The 2011 Goodwood Festival of Speed was launched today and Jaguar takes a huge part in it. Furthermore, the 50th anniversary of the iconic E-type is being celebrated.

Mugen Euro is developing a high-performance Honda CR-Z. The goal is to deliver “Type R-like” performance from the hybrid’s powertrain. So, the customers will receive driving pleasure at decent price.

Audi priced the new 2012 R8 GT at $196 800 for the US. The limited edition R8 will be created in just 333 units and 90 of them will be delivered in the United States.
2012 Audi R8 GT is powered by Lamborghini’s 5.2 liter V10 FSI engine with 560PS, which is 35PS more than the original version. 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 320km/h (199 mph). R8 GT also features more carbon fiber body parts, so it is 180 pounds lighter compared to a standard R8.

Ratan Tata has revealed a production version of the Pixel concept which recently debuted at the Geneva Motor Show. The new vehicle will replace the previously announced Nano Europa which was scheduled to be launched late last year.Tata Pixel is designed specifically for Europe and features four seats, conventional doors and a retuned chassis.Pixel will be powered by 1.2 liter three-cylinder diesel with 61PS (45 kW). The car is expected to return 69mph (3.4 l/100km) and 89 g/km of CO2 emissions.

Cecomp and Bollore will buil 4000 Bluecars for France's Autolib car sharing service.
Pininfarina Bluecar features a Lithium Metal Polymer (LMP) battery, which can supply a range of 250km (155 miles) on a single charge. The company didn’t release any official data, but the EV will accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 6.3 seconds and it will be limited to 130 km/h (80 mph).
Autolib will offer the Bluecar for rent in Paris and 40 other municipalities starting in October 2011.

Amari Design has revealed a tuning program for Bentley Continental GT. The name of the project is GT Evolution.
