McLaren news (from the road-going sector): As of this October, all the McLaren MP4-12Cs will get some extra power, a bit of a detail revision and a gadget for immature people just like us. We would really like to stress on the “all” part as even owners of previous years will get the upgrade...for free. After its stellar world debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed, and the series of exclusive showcases to prospective customers and media across the globe in 2010, the McLaren MP4-12C ultra-sports car has finally enter production at the McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) in Woking, England.
With schedule to build up to 1,000 12Cs in 2011, McLaren Automotive will be manufacturing most of its rides in a bespoke new 40m GBP McLaren Production Centre, which is due for completion in May.
