McLaren F1 - 391 km/h [video]
McLaren F1 is powered by BMW-sourced 6.1 litre naturally aspirated V12 with 636PS (468 kW) at 7400RPM and 651Nm (480 lb-ft) at 5600RPM.
The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and the compression ratio is 11:1. The redline rev limiter set at 7500RPM, which appears enough for the super car to go all the way to 391 km/h.
The curb weight of the car is just 1 140kg. This, the aerodynamics and the brilliant engine are the key to the brutal performance.
