McLaren has finally released full details on the MP4-12C. The sports car is powered by a compact mid-rear 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 with 600PS (441 kW) and 600Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. The acceleration is astonishing - 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds (3.1 seconds with special Corsa tires) and a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph). The more important discipline 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) - 9.1 seconds.
McLaren MP4-12C has MonoCell carbon-fiber chassis, which weighs just 75kg and the whole car is 1301kg.
After its stellar world debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed, and the series of exclusive showcases to prospective customers and media across the globe in 2010, the McLaren MP4-12C ultra-sports car has finally enter production at the McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) in Woking, England.
With schedule to build up to 1,000 12Cs in 2011, McLaren Automotive will be manufacturing most of its rides in a bespoke new 40m GBP McLaren Production Centre, which is due for completion in May.

McLaren priced the perfect road machine MP4-12C from £168 500 (including 20% VAT) when it goes on sale in the UK in 2011.
