With 340 kW of power and with an incredible sprint from 0 to 100 (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds, Audi showed the all-electrically powered sporty R8 e-tron sports car. It comes with incredible blend of technologies and next-gen engineer wonders, that include lightweight design, high performance drivetrain system and piloted driving. Audi team really has a lot to offer. Let's check it out!

One of the most interesting features about the latest R8 is the electrically powered engine. It is especially designed to drive about 450 km when fully charged, with energy density of 154 Wh/kg. Furthermore, the vehicle comes with the special Combined Charging System (CCS), that allows charging with direct and alternating current. The good news is, that with this technology the car is charged for less than two hours. Cool, huh?

In fact, there are two electric motors, that both provide an output of  231 hp (170 kW) and 460Nm of torque. As we told, you the spring from 0-100 km/h ends in 3.9 seconds and from that impressive start the vehicle chases the top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph) or 250 km/h (155 mph), depending on the set of tires.
