Only a week before the start of this year's edition of Paris Motor Show, another debutant is announced – the Honda Jazz Hybrid. This compact B-segment ride continues Honda's commitment to petrol-electric hybrid technology sharing the same IMA hybrid motor and control system like the Insight and CR-Z hybrids.

The new compact hybrid benefits from the same power unit as the Insight hybrid, the 1.3 litre i-VTEC engine linked to a CVT gearbox with an electric motor sandwiched between the two to create a parallel hybrid system. On zero emissions mode, the brand-new Honda Hybrid will be limited only to low and medium speeds.

On the styling part, the Jazz hybrid differs from the current Jazz range by revised headlights, with a blue surround, clear rear lights, new front grille, restyled bumpers and a chrome tailgate garnish. A bespoke Lime Green metallic shade is also available on the new model.

Inside the cockpit, the fresh eco-friendly Jazz features darker single color dashboard that contrasts beautiful with the blue lighting of the dials and stereo. In addition to that, exclusive leather trim is also available on the new ride.

The all-new Jazz hybrid will be launched in some European markets in the early 2011.
