After the poor-sized, but real 2011 Peugeot 508 images from yesterday, which leaked from the Lion marque's forum, the French sporty manufacturer has now released a pack of high-resolution photos backed by more detailed info on its newly-styled, highly-anticipated ride.

Like we mentioned in our previous article, the all-new 2011 Peugeot 508 draws its exterior design from the brand's recently premiered, astonishing "5 by Peugeot" concept car. In the terms of cabin ambience, Peugeot promises hi-tech innovative solutions combined with top-end materials and detailing. Furthermore, the interior comfort will be additionally enhanced by remarkable spaciousness and high level of standard specification.

For powering the 2011 Peugeot 508, the French guys have prepared a fresh range of units, well positioned in their categories in terms of performance and driveability, but also fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.  All powerplants will be fitted with the brand's latest technology achievements, including the all-new e-HDi stop and start system, which offers improved driveability and economy enhancements of up to 15%.

Soon after the ride's market launch, Peugeot will start to offer the sharp-styled 508 with its eco-friendly HYbrid4 technology that delivers 200 horsepower and all-wheel drive with emissions of 99g/km of CO2 or zero in full electric mode.

Scheduled for public debut at this year's Paris Motor Show in October, the new 508 will be offered in two body styles: a Saloon (with a length of 4.79 m) and a SW (4.81 m).
