MEC DESIGN Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet Cerberus front viewSomewhere in the past we have spoken about this project. Nevertheless, it comes stronger than ever with absolutely new pictures, which you can see and download (for free) from Automobilesreview gallery below. The changes added by the specialists at MED Design include a brand new body-kit as well as interior updates, worth writing about.

The stylish widebody kit catches the eye for sure. However, the car used as a basis the E-class A207 Cabriolet is pretty impressive to work on. To make it clear from the start, this project does not include any overboost of power, but features beautifying changes to the exterior and interior.

Exterior

Beginning with the front, the tuners decided to make the Cerberus with menacing and almost intimidating appearance. The front is completed with a brand new bumper, which features huge air vents as well as a spoiler lip with air splitter. For those wanting to "shine in the dark", MEC Design have added LED daytime running lights.

The new front wings feature wide arch flares, while the bonnet now includes row of air vents along its sides. Continuing to the side, there we see in-house made side skirts, which have been equipped with LED lights to illuminate the ground below the vehicle in the dark. The massive wheel arches have been filled out with 20-inch Luxury Grey CCd5 three-piece alloys by MEC Design and then shod with 245/35ZR20 and 325/30ZR20 rubbers at the front and rear, respectively. The ride height has been lowered by the means of additional suspension kit.

The rear of the E-Class Cabriolet is now proud owner of a new bumper with integrated diffuser frames, four-pipe stainless-steel sports exhaust system from the "Earthquake" range.

Interior

The changes throughout the cabin are not so elaborate, but they perfectly complement the fantastic work done by the professional tuning studio. Immediately grabbing the attention is the sport steering wheel Alcantara and black piano lacquer. Then we see the accents to the interior made by the addition of trim inserts finished in black piano lacquer. At last, a set of exclusive floor mats with Nubuck edging add the finishing touch.
