Visitors to this year’s Salon Privé, 22-24 July, will be the first members of the public to see Jaguar’s stunning, all-new XJ model, just two weeks after its global unveiling. The all-new XJ will not go on general sale until the end of 2009, but Jaguar will take orders at Salon Privé, with first customers due to receive their cars in early 2010. Chrysler Group LLC announced that production will continue for the legendary Dodge Viper SRT10. Originally slated to cease production in December 2009, the Chrysler Group Conner Avenue Assembly Plant — the exclusive home of Dodge Viper production since 1995 — will continue to build the V-10 powered sports car. Effective immediately, two new entry-level engines are available for the Audi Q5: the 2.0 TDI and the 2.0-liter TFSI, both in conjunction with the 6-speed manual transmission.
