Sebastien Ogier and the Citroen C2-R2 MAXAt the end of the 45th Ulster International Rally, Sebastien Ogier and Jack Boyere have won the twowheel drive category in their C2-R2 MAX. Called up recently to replace Simon Jean-Joseph, who is recovering from facial injuries, Sebastien was co-driven by Jack Boyere in the Citroen prepared and maintained by PH-Sport. NISSAN GT-R takes 4th win of the season from 6 races – SUPER GT 2008 Round 6 Race Report

NISSAN GT-RIn the long-established midsummer’s endurance race, Round 6 of SUPER GT the “International POKKA 1000km” event took place on August 24th at Suzuka Circuit (1 lap: 5.807km). Starting from fourth on the grid, the CALSONIC IMPUL GT-R (#12 Tsugio Matsuda/Sebastien Philippe) withstood the severe long-distance and about six hours’ racing to take the win. BMW Sauber F1 Team driver Robert Kubica (POL) finishes 3rd in the raceValencia (ES). At the maiden F1 event in Valencia Robert Kubica finished third. It is the eighth podium for the BMW Sauber F1 Team in 2008 and the fifth this season for the Pole. Kubica started the European Grand Prix from third on the grid. Le Mans series: Nurburgring 1,000km

Peugeot 908 HDiTwo months after the 2008 Le Mans 24 Hours, Team Peugeot Total was eager to pull off a win in Germany where its two 908 HDi FAPs both qualified on the front row of the grid.  The two crews produced a perfect team effort to provide the French carmaker with its first one-two finish of the season, just as they had done at the Nürburgring this time last year.  The result also hands Peugeot and its crews the provisional lead in both championships.
