BMW has unveiled a new limited edition of the small crossover – the X1. The German manufacturer is now offering X1 Exclusive Sport specially created for Japan. It is already available on the market with pricing starting from ¥5,190,000.

2014 BMW X1 Exclusive Sport is based on the ///M-Sport model and comes with complete aerodynamics package as well as satin aluminum trim elements. There are only two paint schemes: Alpine White or Black Sapphire metallic.

The interior boasts Nevada leather upholstery in beige, heated front seats and ///M-Sport steering wheel. The standard equipment include parking support package including a rearview camera; iDrive navigation package with an 8.8" display.

The engine is a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder – 184HP (135 kW) and 270Nm (199 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission. 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 220 km/h (138 mph). The BMW X1 sDrive20i Exclusive Sport is RWD (rear-wheel drive), while the all-wheel drive variant - xDrive20i is also available.

Both models feature ECO PRO mode boasting incredibly low fuel consumption – 6.7 liters / 100 km for the RWD model and 7.1 liters / 100 km for the AWD version of the exclusive X1.
