This beautiful BMW M4 has received some special attention from the specialist at BILSTEIN. They have announced the release of brand new DampTronic shock absorbers and suspensions for M4. The good news is that both are also suitable for the M3. Both models share the same 431 HP biturbo inline six-cylinder engine is perfectly paired with the suspension.
However, the sporty top line models from the 3 Series and 4 Series are equipped with entirely different axle design. So, adding to the standard suspension, customers can also choose the adaptive M suspension. What it does is to adapt to the current road conditions within the blink of the eye.
BILSTEIN have developed the new shock absorber, so that it can ensure the driving remains enjoyable after many miles of exploitation. In fact, there are various types of shock absorbers, starting with the B4 DampTronic, the stronger B6 DampTronic and the high-end coilover suspension B16 DampTronic. Another advantage that they have is that they can be added effortlessly over the factory-installed active suspension.
To go into details, the B6 DampTronic mono-tube gas-pressure shock absorbers add more damping force than the B4, performance and durability. In addition, the vehicles with the adaptive M suspension can be equipped with the BILSTEIN B16 DampTronic. Its advantage is that it has a tenfold adjustment option of bump and rebound stage.
