Jaguar, the renowned luxury car marque has announced the details on its enhanced for model year 2011 XF range. Some of the key highlights for MY2011 are the much-acclaimed 275 horsepower Diesel S model, new colour themes and new entry price for the XF line-up.

The 2011 Jaguar XF Diesel S sports luxury vehicle now packs more detailed exterior styling and upgraded interior, which provides the customers with even more of that sporty feeling blended with luxury character. The new cabin trim is derived from the top of the line XFR model and features leather sports seats, power-adjusted side bolsters, high-gloss Piano Black veneer and Jet Suedecloth headlining. In addition to the stunning visual improvements, the high-performance diesel also offers an Adaptive Dynamics unit, which is available as an option.

"We have applied the lessons learned from the XFR to bring more sophisticated, sporting driving dynamics to the Diesel S model," explained Mike Cross, Chief Engineer, Vehicle Integrity. "Fitted with the state-of-the-art Adaptive Dynamics system, the latest Diesel S provides driving enthusiasts with taut handling and superb body control, but without the noise and harshness often associated with ‘sports' suspension packages."

The British car manufacturer is offering the MY2011 XF Diesel S with a choice of two new exclusive option packs: the Dynamics Pack and the Aerodynamic Pack.

The new Dynamics Pack utilizes the Adaptive Dynamics system, which analyses the chassis movement, the driver and the wheel inputs 500 times every second, and adjusts the suspension to improve handling without any loss of comfort. Moreover, the optional pack includes Shadow or Silver finished 20-inch Volans five-spoke alloys. Its price tag starts at £1250 depending on model.

The optional Aerodynamic Pack is engineered to provide the XF Diesel S with even more stellar and aggressive stance. It packs striking new black mesh inserts for the grille and lower air intakes, which contribute for a deeper look to the front of the car and even greater visual impact. The sculpted lower air intake blades can be further equipped with bright-white LED daytime running lights. Directly from the XFR model, the side sills complete the package ultimately. The cost of this option pack is £1500, or £2000 with the LED lights.

Aside of the mega equipped XF Diesel S, the model year 2011 is also offering a new Polaris White colour, which replaces the current Porcelain shade. Red brake callipers are also available to order as a no cost option on XFR models, black mesh inserts for the grille also become standard on the XFR and Diesel S.
