2016 Volkswagen up! Beats The smallest Volkswagen model becomes even more functional and more flexible. This summer the second series of the up! lineup will be launched in Europe with refreshed exterior, additional colors, new wheels, extended list of personalization options, restyled interior and of course tons of hi-tech gadgets and systems. As you may know, up! is one of the most successful Volkswagen cars in Europe and we all expect that the new lineup will be even better than the predecessor.

Design and style

The vehicles that will be presented in Geneva will proudly demonstrate new LED daytime running lights, redesigned bumpers, new rear diffuser, redesigned taillights, new exterior mirror housing with integrated indicator lights, additional colors and many more goodies. Also, there will be a special "Light and Sight" package that includes "Coming home" and "Leaving home" functions, as well as rain sensors. VW is also offering multi-function steering wheel and Pure Air Climatronic with air quality sensor and active biogenic filter. There is also a special smartphone integration that allows the phone to become one-of-a-kind infotainment system with computer functions, navigation and many more.

2016 Volkswagen up! Beats

The new up! model will feature the flexible and versatile 1.0-liter turbocharged direct petrol injection TSI power unit that produces a total of 90hp (66kW) and maximum torque of 160Nm from 1,500rpm. The three-cylinder engine is the first turbo unit for the new up! and the most powerful by far. It is capable to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in 10 seconds and has a top speed of 185 km/h (102mph).
