AC Schnitzer, the Aachen-based premium tuner for BMW cars has released an exclusive program for the 2010 BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo, an extraordinary stylish vehicle packed with extremely flexible features and matchless comfort.

Retrofitted by AC Schnitzer, the newcomer boasts a power upgrade, which increases the stock figures of the 530d's six-cylinder turbo common-rail diesel engine from 245 to 286 horsepower, charging the refined ride with additional pulling power and racing flair. Outside, the vehicle is just stunning, it incorporates new front and rear spoilers, sleek bonnet vents, side skirts and a unique rear skirt, which perfectly outlines the AC Schnitzer's twin sports rear silencer. Impressive agility and incredibly smooth ride is ensured by the AC Schnitzer's suspension spring set. In addition to the new exterior highlights, the renowned tuner also offers its Type IV design wheels in 19-inch or the BiColor Version in 19- and 20-inch. The AC Schnitzer wheels Type VII in silver and BiColor in 22-inch size and the forged alloys Type V in 20- and 22-inch are also suitable. Another ideal choice is the all-new Type VIII rims in 19-inch or the racing forged alloys Type VIII in 22-inch.

In the terms of interior styling, the 5-series GT by AC Schnitzer is distinguished by new, aluminium covered i-Drive System Controller, foot rest and pedal set. Special velour floor mats and boot mat further strengthens the cosy ambience.
