At the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show 2010, Alfa Romeo will premiere its latest model - Giulietta. The sales of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta will start in spring 2010, and will hit all the major markets around the globe.

The newly developed Giulietta is set to give impetus to the Alfa Romeo brand in one of Europe's most important segments. The car is named after a very special fifties vehicle, caught the imagination of generations of car enthusiasts with high level of performance and matchless comfort. Compact in dimensions and stylish in appearance, the new Alfa Romeo Giulietta provides high levels of agility and safety on the road. Its amazing dynamics and great comfort are the result of re-engineered technical solutions implemented in the suspensions, a next-generation steering system, a rigid yet light structure made of aluminium and high-strength steel, and state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies.

The new Alfa Giulietta carries all the brand's DNA design cues presented in ultra modern way. Some of the exterior highlights that we can't miss in the new Giulietta are: the brand-new interpretation of the classic Alfa grille, front headlamps with LED technology and Daytime Running Lights (DRL) function for maximum safety, muscular car-like rear end design and rear light clusters with LED technology.

Alfa Romeo guarantees high level of performance and environmental friendliness with the new Giulietta. Four Turbo engines will be available at launch, all Euro 5 compliant and equipped with a standard Start&Stop function for better fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions: two petrol engines (1.4TB - 120 HP and 1.4TB MultiAir - 170 HP) and two diesel engines (1.6 JTDM - 105 HP and 2.0 JTDM - 170 HP, both belonging to the second generation of JTDM engines). Finally, the range is completed with the exclusive 1750 TBi - 235 HP with Quadrifoglio Verde configuration.
