In terms of drivetrain system, 2018 Accord is geared with third-generation of Honda's well-known hybrid power unit that pairs just fine with a 2.0-liter DOHC i-VTEC Atkinson-cycle inline-4 engine. This bad boy delivers a total of 232lb-ft of torque and neat kick of 212 horsepower. What also caught our attention is the fact that the engineering team has also included a system, called Deceleration Selectors. It is similar to the gearbox paddle shifters and what it does is to allow driver to easily toggle between four levels of regenerative braking performance.
