Hyundai i40W will replace the well-known Sonata model in Europe. The new car was created at Hyundai's design studios in Germany. i40W reminds Opel Insignia Sports Tourer as you can see at the sketches.

Hyundai i40W will be available in two body styles - a four-door sedan and an estate. However, the teasers are for the estate model, which will be debuting first.

The engine range includes 1.6 liter petrol GDI with 140PS (103 kW) and a 2.0 liter with 177PS (130 kW). The diesel engines are 1.7 liter CRDI with 115PS (85 kW) or 136 PS (100 kW) and 2.0 liter CRDI with 177PS (130 kW) mated to a new dual-clutch gearbox.

i40W will make its official debut at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show next March and will go on sale in Europe soon after that.
