Lotus has announced a more expensive versions of Evora and Evora S. Lotus Evora Sports Racer comes with everything that you need for some serious fun.

The special edition vehicles has some gloss black accents on the front splitter, side sills, roof and rear diffuser. The brake calipers can be painted in either red or black and the exterior color range includes: Ardent Red, Nightfall Blue, Carbon Grey and Aspen White.

The interior gets black leather and contrasting red stitching for the seats. There is also a red leather with black stitching variant. The Sports Pack is standard and includes a Sports mode that raises the rev limit and increases throttle response. It also contains cross-drilled brake discs and a rear diffuser.

The Tech Pack brings some nice goodies – better audio, 7" touchscreen, DVD player, Bluetooth/USB/iPod support, rear parking sensors, cruise control and a tire pressure monitor system. Lotus has also added a reversing camera and power folding mirrors.

Lotus Evora has a 3.5 litre V6 with 280HP (206 kW) and 342Nm (253 lb-ft) of torque.  0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 261 km/h (162 mph). The fuel consumption is just 6.5 l/100 km on the highway. The Evora Sports Racer starts from £57,900.

Lotus Evora S is powered by a 3.5 liter DOHC supercharged V6 VVT-i engine with 350HP (257 kW) at 7,000RPM and 400Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque at 4,500RPM. 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and the top speed is 276 km/h (172 mph). It comes with  with a new active exhaust that, at a push of a button, can emit some seriously deep sounds. The Evora S Sports Racer is £65,900.

Thanks to the super lightweight of just 1437 kg, the car is able to offer offer a fuel consumption of up to 7.6 l/100km on the highway.
