Manhart Racing has revealed their latest tuning project called MH1 and based on the BMW 1-Series M135i. The latest 1-Series is rather ugly, but Manhart has managed to make it a little more pleasant to look.

The tuning package includes styling and performance upgrades as well. The 3.0 liter six-cylinder turbocharged engine is boosted to 405HP (298 kW) and 560Nm (413 lb-ft) – an increase of 85HP and 110Nm. The result is thanks to an additional control unit and a complete sports exhaust system.

The exterior boasts an aggressive matt black foil wrap and some yellow accents on the side skirts, bumper blades and brake calipers, which by the way are 8-piston at the front and 4-piston at the rear with 380x32mm discs generating extreme stopping power. There are also new alloy wheels - 8.5J x 19" at the front and 9.5J x 19" at the rear fitted with Michelin Super Sport tires. Last, but not least is the KW Clubsport coilover suspension offering perfect stance and handling and a Quaife LSD (a mechanical limited-slip differential).

The interior  comes with a nice combination of leather and Alcantara upholstery matching the exterior in black and yellow colors. There are also BMW Performance seats.
