Skoda has announced its second generation, eco-friendly GreenLine rides – Skoda Fabia Estate GreenLine II and Skoda Roomster GreenLine II. Following the recently released face-lifted Fabia and Roomster, the new green additions excel at slightly re-styled vision and some exciting new technology features developed to further reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels. The most valued of them include a new powerplant (1.2 TDI CR DPF – 75 horsepower DPF) with high-pressure direct injection, start-stop system, energy recuperation and gear recommendation.

Estimating a consumption of just 83.1 mpg and CO2 emissions of 89 g/km for the Fabia Estate GreenLine II and 67.3 and 109 g/km for the Roomster GreenLine II, the all-new engine is in full compliance with the strict EU5 emission standard.

Thanks to the new stop-start system, the newcomers can save up to 4.2 mpg (combined) or up to 7.7 mpg in city traffic. Energy recuperation is another innovative feature introduced on the new GreenLine II rides, which helps to reduce the CO2 emissions by 2 - 4 g/km.

Furthermore, the Skoda Fabia Estate GreenLine II and Skoda Roomster GreenLine II pack gear recommendation system, a lowered and aerodynamically-covered chassis and, last but not least, low rolling resistance tyres.
