At the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Chrysler brand’s new CEO, Olivier Francois donated his own vehicle in order to help raise money for Haitian relief efforts. Positioned at the entrance of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Francois' Chrysler 300C was signed from 300 of the most renowned celebrities in the world. Tomorrow, at the Barrett-Jackson event in Scottsdale, Arizona, General Motors will auction a limited-edition 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, which proceeds will be donated for earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. Kia Motors has unwrapped the first rendered image of its latest concept vehicle – Kia Ray plug-in hybrid concept – which will make its first appearing at the forthcoming 2010 Chicago Auto Show.
Engineered at the Kia Design Centre America, the brand-new Kia Ray project is set to demonstrate how the brand’s evolving design would be applied in the packaging of a plug-in hybrid vehicle.
