Abarth 500 R3T
At the 51st Sanremo Rally, Abarth will showcase its new racing addition called the Abarth 500 R3T. The Abarth 500 rally version will be type approved for Group R3T, the category for turbocharged cars up to 1600 cm3 in capacity. Actually the Abarth 500 power unit is 1368 cm3 with a Garret GT 1446 turbocharger, which produces 180 hp (132 kw) at 5500 rpm.
With its 6 speeds sequential gearbox with multiplate self-locking differential, adjustable suspension, adjustable racing shock-absorbers and 7" x 17" OZ asphalt rims wrapped in 19/62-17 tyres, the Abarth 500 R3T is ready to satisfy even the most highest race drivers demands.
The driver safety is guaranteed by the special 4 callipers ventilated Brembo disc brakes, the welded roll-bar and the FIA type-approved seats with 6 seat belt anchorage points.
