With its striking exterior and more functional and cozy interior, the vehicle not only offers safety when in the extremes, but also delivers luxurious ride comfort. In addition, like other G-Class models, this one also benefits from a technology update for the infotainment, navigation and communication systems. Other exclusive advantages here are the sturdy ladder-type frame body and permanent all-wheel drive.

Powering the G350 d Professional is the V6 diesel engine with 2987 cc of displacement and responsible for 180 kW (245 hp). The unit is mated to a 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission.

In terms of exterior design, some of the exclusive features of the new off-roader are the matt black radiator grille and the black painted light-alloy wheels in 5‑spoke design; and the all-terrain tyres in size 265/70 R 16. The off-road character of the mode is further strengthened with the modified suspension, which provides it with an additional 10 millimetres of ground clearance. Due to the payload of 592 kilograms, the G 350 d Professional is also ideally prepared for challenging transport tasks.

2016 Mercedes-Benz G350 d Professional  interior

The interior has been entirely redesigned. It features contemporary dashboard, high-quality equipment and appointments, greater comfort and better ergonomics, multifunction steering wheel, the electric steering column with adjustable height and reach, as well as partially power-adjustable front seats. There are also various optional features, some of which include steel front bumper, the optional Professional Off-Road package with protective grille for the front bi-xenon headlamps; and a Load Protection package offering maximum safety.

Very cool option is that the popular anthracite trim, which is new fro the G 500 and AMG models, can be now ordered as an alternative at no extra charge. The exterior of can be further upgraded with matt black painted light-alloy wheels in 5‑spoke design with 265/70 R 16 tyres as well as the optional roof rack.
