World debut for 2013 Dodge SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition at Pebble Beach
2013 Dodge SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition will make its first official appearance at Pebble Beach this weekend. The unveiling of the new limited-edition model will evoke memories of the past Viper Coupes.
The new Dodge has the emblematic GTS Blue paint and dual Bright White stripes. And this is exactly what is exclusive to the Launch Edition models. The bright white stripes are running the length of the all-new exterior which incorporates the symbolic Viper styling cues.
To sum up, this American-built supercar showcases the very best of the brand: superior craftsmanship, finest materials, wide range of new technologies, ergonomic improvements and great performance.
The five-spoke polished forged-aluminum wheels are the perfect complementary addition to the historically significant paint scheme. Moreover, "Stryker" badges positioned on the hood and steering wheel add to the exclusivity of this Viper.
In terms of interior this Launch Edition includes Black Laguna leather with contrast stitching found throughout it. It covers the seats, door trim, instrument panel, steering wheel, grab handle, shift knob and center console. Alcantara covers the headliner and white bezels are finished in Satin Silver.
How about the engine included in this inspiring model? It is exactly the same, which can be found under the hood of the 2013 Dodge SRT Viper and Viper GTS: the all-aluminum 8.4-liter V-10 mid-engine.
As a reminder, it generates 640 horsepower (470 kW) and 600 lb.-ft. (443 Nm) of torque. The standard safety features included here are also the same: electronic multistage stability control, traction control and new 4-channel antilock brake system (ABS).
