Surprisingly, the high-end car tuner - ASI Corp. is tweaking a body kit design for the eco-friendly Toyota Prius. More aggressive, aerodynamic and sporty, the ASI visual kit will try to satisfy the consumers demand for eco tuning and styling. No doubt that the new ASI visual kit will improve the aerodynamics and provide better performance and economy for the already eco-booming Prius.

The automobile world is on the verge of the most radical change in its history. Normal combustion engines are for the first time being faced with serious competition from the electric camp. A first step on the way to a pure E-car is the hybrid vehicle, which combines a combustion and an electric engine in one vehicle. However, many people connect this form of movement with the words sacrifice and saving. Eco(logical) doesn't immediately sound like fun and enjoyment.

Long before the first new Prius reached the showroom, Toyota had plans in place to ensure that when the car reaches the end of its useful life it can be disposed of in an environmentally responsible fashion.
When its driving duties are done, more than 85 per cent of new Prius’s can be recycled and more than 95 per cent of its materials can be recovered in a process that only accounts for a tiny proportion (approximately two per cent) of its full lifecycle CO2 emissions.

Climbing into a car that's been parked for a while on even a moderately sunny day can be an uncomfortable experience and is likely to provoke full-blast operation of the air conditioning, using up fuel and increasing emissions. Toyota has solved the problem with a new solar-powered ventilation system that keeps the interior cool, with no need for the engine to be running. And to make sure the temperature is just right before you get inside, it has produced the world's first Remote Air Conditioni

The first-generation Prius was the world’s first mass-produced hybrid vehicle. Launched in Japan in 1997 and in Europe in 2000, the unique Toyota hybrid established a major industry milestone in vehicle powertrain development and sustainable mobility. The name Prius, ‘to go before’ in Latin, became symbolic of a car that was launched even before environmental awareness had become a mainstream social issue.
