Volkswagen has exclusively released two optional sporty packages for the recently premiered next-generation 2011 VW Touareg 5-door SUV. Dubbed under the famous R-line label, both packages, the R-Line and the R-line Plus add significant amount of sportier and more premium equipment to the massive eye-catcher.

Fitted with the pure R-line pack, the highly innovative mid-size crossover ride boasts an all-new set of 20-inch lightweight alloys in sleek ‘Mallory' design, as well as a new sporty-tuned chassis.  In addition to that, its exterior is strewn with R-line logos.  On the inside, the new pack reinforces the luxury ambience of the ride via a set of pedals in stainless steel and a fresh selector lever finished in leather with aluminum inlays.

The more extensive, R-line Plus package features all the technical improvements found on the pure R-line, and further includes: heated front sports seats with two-tone luxury leather finish,  40:60 remote unlocking folding rear seats, and newly, silver lane styled console elements.

Both packages are offered only on the second-generation Touareg, with price tag for the pure R-line pack in the V8 model of 2760 Euro (V6 – 3485 Euro), and for the R-Line Plus package in the V8 of 3355 Euro (V6 – 8085 Euro).
