G-Class from Mercedes-Benz celebrated its 30th anniversary last year. For many people across the world this off-roader is the greatest of all times. The incredible durability and comfort, which G-class offers are unrivaled. Now the icon is ready to return to UK roads in the Autumn and it will be available with diesel or supercharged petrol engines.

There are more than 200,000 units sold worldwide since the G-class started in 1979. This is enough proof for its quality. The SUV has awesome  practicality as everyday vehicle as well as real off-roader.

The available engines for G-class will be the G 350 CDI which produces 221 hp and goes 25.7 mpg, and the top of range G 55 AMG KOMPRESSOR with 500 hp and stunning acceleration 0-62 mph in 5.5 seconds.

The standard equipment of G-class is more than enough – it features: Automatic climate control; automatic transmission, with high and low gear ratios; Bi-Xenon headlamps, heated seats with memory, leather upholstery (including the dashboard) as well as COMAND, a reverse parking aid and a Harman Kardon Logic 7 Sound system.

The ESP and 4ETS system guarantee excellent traction and stability on all kind of terrain. The front and rear differentials can be locked up to 100 per cent, also permanent all-wheel drive and off-road ratios prove their worth off the beaten track. All these features make G-class top class off-roader.

The prices of G-class models aren't cheap at all. The mighty SUV starts from £57,975 OTR for G 300 CDI. The G 350 CDI will be available from £79,975 and the G 55 AMG KOMPRESSOR will cost £114,975 OTR. Howsoever, the quality have price and it is high.
