The perfect balance between beauty and technology

The 2008 SEAT Ibiza is the start of a new cycle within the company, where one of the main objectives is to lead in terms of design and quality in all respective car segments. The new SEAT Ibiza occupies the starting position of this strategy, the brand's most emblematic vehicle which besides, will be the first to apply the new VW Group platform developed for this segment.

The new Ibiza is already available in the dealership network with three trim levels – Reference, Stylance and Sport, and a complete equipment line starting with the entry-level version, including ABS, ESP and TCS + EBA, driver and passenger airbag, head-thorax airbag, Hill Hold Control, tyre pressure warning light, MP3 audio equipment + Aux-in + 6 speakers and several other features that put it in the lead in terms of equipment in its segment.

The most ecological monospace car

The SEAT Alhambra joins SEAT's ecological model range with its new ECOMOTIVE version, and with a figure of only 159 g/km of C02 emissions, it is the least polluting in its segment.

Lower fuel consumption and emissions have been made possible, in part, thanks to developments made to the efficient 140 hp 2.0 TDI engine's electronic management, the addition of the DPF particulate filter and 195/60 low-friction tyres on 16 inch steel rims.

This new car will be available in the Reference Plus trim level, with a first-order standard equipment level featuring driver and passenger airbag, sidebags and head airbag for all three rows of seats, ABS, ESP (including EBA), foglights, Isofix anchoring points for child seats, sports suspension, cruise control, climate control, trip computer, Aux-in connection and MP3 CD radio with 10 speakers, among others.

Besides the 2008 SEAT Ibiza and the new Alhambra ECOMOTIVE, the Spanish carmaker is also showcasing the rest of its range at the Madrid Motor Show, with the exceptional appearance of the Línea R and ECOMOTIVE versions, the Cupra of the SEAT León, the 125 hp Altea XL 1.4 TSI equipped with the special Family package, and one of the most recent additions to the Altea freetrack range, namely the four-wheel drive 140 hp 2.0 TDI.
